Living Room Update

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.  I visited my family for a few days and had a great time. I took Friday-Monday morning to work on the RV with my friend.

He added crown moulding to the wall and I made preparations to move the light so we can hang the curtain higher.  On the left you can see my “office.” I have a file holder, a dry erase, weekly calendar, and a monthly calendar.  I bought the dry erase board with the cork bottom at Target several months ago. It just happened to go with the thermal black out curtain.

I bought three more plants on sale. They were about a dollar or two more than they were before.

I also took time to decorate a little for the holidays.

You can see my new shades as well.

They stick out a little farther than I had hoped when they are open, but what are you gonna do?  I wish I had gone with the black out ones, but they hung down even further blocking the window when they were open.  I don’t mind the light coming in so much as everyone knowing I’m in there at night. I keep reminding myself I am not going stealth so it doesn’t really matter.

I really need to find a shade for the door window. It is really bright compared to the shaded windows.
