Happy Thanksgiving!

closet

My bedroom closet has a few hacks. I cut up a shoe organizer and stapled it on the doors and on the ceiling above the rack. I also cut down a septic tank hose to put on the rod. This keeps my hangers from moving around when I’m driving.

I am debating whether or not to put a shelf under the clothes. There is plenty of space, but I can’t see what I have under there when I am standing in front of it. I really wouldn’t be able to if I had a shelf either. I may also put the rod a couple inches higher.

Here’s my lovely orange bathroom. My chiropractor has a purple bathroom and I definitely rethought my color pick after seeing how nice their bathroom looked. I am pretty happy with this one though.

I had my toilet set up with a sprayer, but every one I tried, the sprayer leaked. I don’t know how they work on a kitchen sink. I even put a shut off valve.  That dream is on hold.

Another shot of my bathroom counter and my new soap dispenser.

livingroom-wall

The knotty pine wall of glory.  Johnny isn’t really a fan. He likes it, but doesn’t think it belongs in an RV.  I used command strips to hang the illustration, calendar, and dry erase board.  I spent 6 dollars on those plants and one other. They were all on sale for a dollar or 50 cents.

We are going to move the light in the doorway and raise the curtain rod. We also have crown moulding to put up and of course, the cabinet doors.

living-room-book-shelf

This is my cedar book shelf. I built almost the entire thing myself. I am very proud of that. My niece and my friend’s grandson helped me put 3 coats of poly on it. We did the same on the wall. I’m sure all my books will fall off on the first left turn, but it sure does look nice.  Lola approves.
