This is the first commission I’ve agreed to in a couple of years. I was much more excited to do it than I thought I would be, especially since the sister piece was very challenging. Luckily, although much bigger, this one did not take me nearly as long to finish. It’s also the first very large piece I’ve done in years. It felt great to get back to painting so large. I’m really looking forward to it over the next few months. Although, the next two pieces are slightly smaller. 16″ x 20″ and 18″ x 24″.
