Quickie Update

Back by popular demand, I have a few pictures to share. It has been awhile since these were taken and I have even more to post tomorrow or Thursday.

Bedroom floor:

I bought this floor at Lumber Liquidators. Or as we like to call it, Liquid Lumberdators.  It is  not real wood, but I really love it any way.

Kitchen back splash:

We still haven’t grouted the tile, but it is up. It took about 5 tiles. I bought this at Lowes.

The living room floor:

The weekend before last, this floor was finally finished. It actually is real wood. I will go with the fake wood planks any day if I am the one assembling. It’s pretty lovely though.

Bedroom ceiling:

We used a back splash tile from Menards and a lot of 3m adhesive.  The color is so rich and deep on these tiles and it is much warmer than it appears in the picture.

I started my “job” 3 weeks ago. It was pretty demanding for awhile, but it will calm down now that all the physical therapists won’t be coming.

Next weekend, hopefully, there will be even bigger changes.  I have my living room shades coming tomorrow, they claim my dinette cushions are shipping today or tomorrow to arrive Friday or Saturday.

I have ordered my custom bedroom curtains and my bedroom and bathroom lights. The lights will be here by December 3rd, but the bedroom curtains won’t be ready for up to 5 weeks.
