In Search Of Service

I have spent a month trying to find a new cell phone carrier after Verizon tried to seriously screw me over.  I tried T-Mobile again, however, even though their customer service is 95% above reproach, I couldn’t make it work. I’m now on to AT&T.

Moral of the story: Cell phone companies are the new used car salesmen. Slimy and out to nickle and dime the country.

There were several times I was about to completely give up cell phones during this process. Unfortunately, my Grandma knows how to lay on a pretty big guilt trip about contacting her gypsy grandchild so she knows said grandchild is not dead in a ditch somewhere.

I will now have 6 gigs of internet/mo. for my roaming house.  It is not a lot, but I really need to limit my online time anyway. When I am full-timing, it may go up to 10 and I plan on using free wi-fi from businesses I frequent.
