Rules

Although my lack of painting has been due to a block and no small part some depression, I have decided to come up with a few rules for when I start painting again:

1. A painting a day M-F*

2. Start painting by 10am.

3. If I don’t paint, look for inspiration, go take photos, do something to refill my creativity.

*My goal is to do a painting a day, but if I’m feeling blocked or overwhelmed, I won’t force myself. I’ll try for 15 minutes then move on. I know the difference between, “I just don’t want to do anything,” and the crushing tightness in my chest from feeling blocked.

I realize these are basic and only 3, but I need room to grow and modify.
