For end of May and most of June I was hanging out at my Grandma’s. They don’t call me Rock Star for nothing…just kidding, no one calls me Rock Star… Nascar is another story.
Any way, I was doing a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I believe I have a new hobby to add to my list.
I also took the dogs to the beach:
Beasley laughs in the face of danger.
I thought for sure The Beast would swim nonstop, but he just wanted to romp in the shallow water.
You’re going to put this on the internet, aren’t you?
Gunnar is the main reason they are wearing life jackets. Apparently he only comes out of the water when I get the camera ready. He also likes to find dead fish and roll in them. That was a fun drive home. Luckily the a.c. is broken so I had to have the windows down anyway.
Oh that’s the spot….right there…yeah…get it..
Lola didn’t have to wear her life jacket because she preferred to lay in the water just enough to wet her belly, then roll in the sand.
I also hung out with my niece, uncle, little brother, and my other aunt and uncle as much as I could, I had a couple of massages, bought a few graphic novels (Saga is amazing), watched the new season of OITNB with the rest of the country, and tried to avoid the heat as much as possible.
I have had a very eventful week and a half since I left, of which I will fill you in next time. Sketchbook Skool started last Friday and I only have one sketch to my name. Lame, I know. That’s probably why people don’t call me Rock Star.
Right now I am surrounded by rabbits, chipmunks, squirrels, an angry blue jay, some other random birds, and a lake.
