Happy Valentine’s Day!

I don’t know about you, but my day is starting off rather magical.

Not only is the weather gorgeous and I have beautiful roses, I saw a dolphin. In a river. Twice.  Of course, there are no pictures because the coolest things only happen when my phone is dead.

I had Gunnar and Lola out to do their morning business. Lola always runs off so Gunnar and I went to get her back in the RV. I see something move in the river out of the corner of my eye. At first I figure it is just a river otter or something.  Again I see something move and it is just going back under.

Then I finally see it make a full breach. My jaw hit the ground.

What the heck is a dolphin doing in the river?

The second time I was back in the RV sitting at the dinette on hold with my bank. Sure enough I see the dorsal fin and back. I ran out side trying to get a photo, but I never saw it after that.

Something is going on with my alternator and I mentioned it to my neighbor this morning. He just came over with a couple of boat neighbors and they are going to look at it in a little bit. Maybe I can learn a few things, like what an alternator looks like.
