Link Love – Sketching

I thought I would share some links for sketching since we started the Sketch-A-Long this week.

10 Sketching Tips For Beginners

Top 10 Mistakes Beginners Make

Need ideas? The Every Day Matters Facebook Group is full of inspiration. I never post to the group, but I love the sketches that pop up in my feed. It also lead me to Sketchbook Skool as Danny Gregory created both. Here’s their master list of “challenges.”

50 Beautiful Sketches, in case you thought yours had to look any way other than yours.

More Ideas

If you are really serious about improving, I recommend Sketchbook Skool. At least the first one or two classes. I’ve only taken three so far, but I would love to take more. I wasn’t quite impressed with the third class, but the newer ones all look amazing. There are really great instructors and a lot of inspiration.
Don’t worry if you don’t care to spend $99 or have the time to take classes. That’s not what this is about. I just wanted to mention it because it is a great resource. Especially since they changed it so you can see the videos even after you finished the class.
